The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee held its first meeting on Wednesday, January 31st.  Graciously hosted by the Bexar County Medical Society, the Committee met to discuss the role and goals of the new committee for 2024 and beyond.  After introductory remarks from Greater Chamber Executive Committee Chair Mario Barrera, Committee Chair Jimena Saenz, Associate Vice President, Workforce Planning and Development at Methodist Healthcare, led the discussion of priorities for the year.

The Healthcare Committee is a reboot of the Greater Chamber’s old Healthcare and Bioscience Committee, which stopped meeting at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis.  With valued chamber members around our region seeking a regular forum to discuss challenges and opportunities, the Greater Chamber brought the Healthcare Committee back this year and is growing the group.  If you are interested in joining the committee or would like to know more, contact Jeff Fair – VP, Cybersecurity & Economic Development – at jfair@rajajalanan.com.
